Putting the Sales Mentor Program into Action

Below you will find an overview of what you could generally expect during each step of our collaboration with you and your organization.
STEP 1: Introduction & Discovery Call
This call is designed to introduce MetrixPerformance to you and for us to get to know you and your organization.
We want to learn about your objectives or special needs as well as any challenges you may have that we may help you with. And we are sure you will want to learn more about our program and what we can do for your organization.
We may schedule a follow-up call with additional stakeholders to answer any questions you may have before you make a decision to engage us.
STEP 2: Formalizing the Engagement
When you are ready to move forward with engaging us as a sales enablement partner, we will get together to formalize the partnership by going over logistics (e.g. number of participants, time frame, required preliminary work, etc.), legal information and contracts, initial payment, and other pertinent considerations.
STEP 3: Preliminary Diagnostic Work
This step is very important to ensure program success. At this stage we will gather important information about your sales organization, which includes learning about your products, sales process, sales cycle, your clients, how you find new prospects, etc.
STEP 4: Development & Customization
We will get started with the actual training program. Depending on the size of your sales organization, we can break the training down into multiple sessions.
The training may be delivered via several smaller seminars (e.g. 90 minu tes each) or via a half or full day class according to need—in person on location or virtually online.
We typically cover some of the following topics, depending on your particular needs and requirements:
STEP 5: Sales Boot Camp
Once all preliminary steps have been completed, we will get started with the actual training program. The Boot Camp sessions are generally facilitated on-site by our training consultants.
Our first session should only include members of the sales leadership team and other relevant personnel (e.g. team leads, supervisors, sales managers, coaches, quality analysts, trainers) to allow them to get to know the program first-hand prior to the general roll-out and to provide support during training.
In subsequent sessions we will train the agents, with a preferred size per training class of 12-15 participants. We highly encourage team leaders to also participate in these sessions.
The Sales Boot Camp training includes two parts that are held over several days:
How to prospect effectively
Creating a strong connection with your customers, building rapport and gaining trust
Creating urgency and desire in the customer
Understanding the customer’s needs through powerful questioning techniques
Presenting compelling needs-based solutions
Recognizing buying signals
How to close the sale effectively
How to handle every sales objections
etc.
STEP 6: Roll out of the Coaching-for-Sales-Success program
As soon as the training has been delivered, we can start focusing on working with individual members of your sales team, helping them become more effective and proficient embassadors of your company, assisting them in the development and honing of sales skills, providing support and feedback as they work with your organization’s prospects and customers.
Our coaching approach is simple. Instead of telling your employees how to do their jobs, we simply provide proactive guidance on how they can tap into and unlock their own potential and thus reach higher effectiveness!
Coaching can be done on location or virtually via video conferencing.

6-month “Sales Mentor Program” — Includes the following services:
Additional Coaching at a reduced rate
Upon completion of the initial 6-month period, we can continue providing coaching at a reduced rate on a month-to-month basis.
Gold Package
3-month “Sales Mentor Program” — Includes the following services:
Additional Coaching on a per-need basis
Upon completion of the initial 3-month period, we can continue providing coaching on a month-to-month basis.
